Install the private Mac companion

The Mac companion reads a protected local copy of Messages and prepares People, Groups, reply patterns and Wrapped for your iPhone. Your Messages database and attachments are never uploaded.

Then pair your iPhone

Scan one QR code. Subtext encrypts a smaller relationship brief and, if you enable Coach sync, a bounded evidence corpus before storing them in your private iCloud database. After syncing, your iPhone uses its last secure copy without the Mac awake. Open the Mac when you want newer Messages analyzed.
